When you say the intro, do you mean the text, or the Torrie/Craig
conversation?
They will still be using the fight scenes, they thought those came out
fantastic. They are willing to hold up their end of the deal with
funding so long as we provide a blog style write up on the two main
props, specifically focusing on the electronics (hardware and
software). Basically a how we built them and any problems we encountered.
This shouldn't be a big deal. I can borrow our camera from work today
if we need DSLR quality for the blog. Writing a blog should be a quick
30 minute project.
We still have the props to take photos and the like, but we need to
ship them to Dave sometime next week.
Do we want to ship them, or deliver them by hand? Shipping two large
boxes like that could cost us about $50 or so. Hand delivery is likely
going to be quicker, and cheaper.
On the bright side they love the destruction videos and will be using
those in conjunction with our write ups.
So I ask you this. Do we hold up to our standard of being excellent
and redo the intro on the quick? This will involve the help of a lot
of people. I would love to give them what they want. Can I get some
people down at the space tonight to run through this?
Yes. I vote for busting our asses tonight and knocking this out of the
park. I'll help out with whatever I can tonight.
