All,
As you may have heard, we do not currently have water service to the
building at SYN/HAK right now. I spoke with the Akron Utilities
Business Office today to determine the cause of said shutoff and a
resolution. In short, what they told me was that the water service to
the building was shut off due to there not being authorization for
service at the address. In addition, there is a $15 back balance from
May that is due prior to the water being turned back on.
As we are not the property owners, or authorized agents, we are not able
to speak to the city in regards to this issue. We have to talk to Tony
to get this fixed. Basically, Tony needs to send a fax to 330-375-2308
authorizing the city to turn water back on at our address. Torrie,
Devin and I are supposed to get in touch with Tony at some point in the
near future to follow up on our meeting from three weeks ago, so we will
definitely bring this issue up to him.
