Jenn,

Thanks for the query. To add to what Chris stated.

*At SYN/HAK:*
At our current location, we do have internet. So, technically you should be
able to evaluate _all_ Adobe Creative Cloud products for 30 days per:
http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/buying-guide.html

We have some computers that you should be able to use for this during open
hours.

*At the Akron Main Library:*
Just got off the phone with Chris @ Akronist, and learned that they're
located at the library and have the Adobe's full editions ready for you to
use during their open hours.

Check them out at: http://www.akronist.com/training/

*I owe Chris the front page ABJ article from Monday:
http://www.ohio.com/news/machinists-engineers-and-artists-willing-to-share-their-toys-and-knowledge-at-free-community-workshop-space-1.440414?comments=n
*

In fact, I'd encourage all SYN/HAK members to attend their training classes
for citizen journalism - I <3 it, but due to work schedule I might not be
able to make it.

Also, consider volunteering your skills for Akron Mini-Maker Faire at the
Main library this Sat between 1p-4p. (
http://makerfaireakron.akronlibrary.org/)

I myself am a volunteer videographer/photographer (meaning I have a DSLR
and do volunteer its use)

At the event, we have 40 makers convening for a few hours. It is my wish to
have 5min video pieces of all makers. I have communicated this to the
organizers at the library, but seriously doubt that they will be able to
cover all makers.

I plan to arrive at the event to make this happen, but would like the group
as well as you know that during the event coverage would be great to have,
after the event.

*At the next Akron Canton Web Meetup and Akron Film+Pixel*
Akron Canton Web Meetup is meeting Nov 5 at 7am in the morning at the Akron
Family Restaurant, for make breakfast: Details here:
http://www.meetup.com/akroncantonweb/
They are practitioners of Adobe products through and through. It will help
you to network with them.
They are not the only pixel pushers I know of. Akron Film+Pixel also comes
to mind. Details about them here: http://www.akronfilm.com

I wish you luck in your pixel pushing efforts. Hope you can push pixels
much more effectively than I can. (.. he says as he ruminates about his
deviantart/flickr account and desire to learn gimp/inkscape/blender)

Regards,
