I still want to do one, been casually jotting down notes for a year now. "Intro to reference audio reproduction, chasing the dragon 101" covering overpriced interconnects, single ended amplifiers, fail-tube amps, class d- :) and the ultimate cheat to get you 1/4 of the way: electrostatics. I even have a running notebook of notes for the idea of making it basically an "introduction to electrostatics" class that everyone could walk away with a functioning headphone sized driver running on only about 300v into saran wrap & graphite.
I've been hinting for 6 months, My confidence and the lack of interest in any speakers had put it on the backburner, now that classes are starting up, I'm making noise (pun limit reached). I think it would be entertaining even for the casual attendee, it would be aimed as an intro, and there would be something tangible to take home as applied theory. Meow?
