I have a few things. Some you can have, some you can borrow long term
(6+ months or so).
Donations:
* Cables, cables and more cables. I have XLR, balanced TRS, unbalanced
1/4". I have a flipping tour case full.
* Mic Stands - got a bunch of these also.
Long Term Loans:
* Audio Technica Series 4000 wireless system with lavalier. I also have
headset mic if you want to impersonate Garth Brooks.
* Powered Speakers and stands. I have a pair of db Technologies Opera
speakers, 350W with 15" and horn. Super sweet Italian made drivers.
I am sorry I cannot outright donate these things, but I need them about
once or twice a year. Other than that, SYNHAK could be their home.
As for the MPA 700. If it has that funky screw terminal, it will be
putting out a +4 line-level signal. No more that 1.25V or so. And it
will be balanced, probably a + and - terminal and ground. You would need
to wire an XLR or TRS cable to this and send it to a power amp that
accepts a balanced signal.

Howdy, all.
This week on Dec 4th is our next Speakers Bureau class. Before Wednesday rolls
around, would anyone be able to permanently contribute the following items to
SYNHAK:
* A wireless lavalier mic, for presenters
* Several small lengths of 3-pin XLR cable, for hooking it all up within the
media hub
* Any assorted modules for our Peavey MPA 700 to expand its input capabilities
Idealy, these would be SYNHAK's to own and cherish in perpetuity. The reason
for this is pretty simple: We don't have a working PA system! The Speakers
Bureau can really benefit from having a wireless lavalier mic so that
presenters don't need to shout above any ambient noise for those in the back
of the space to hear.
Additionally, I'm looking for some advice on how to hook up our Peavey MPA 700
preamp to our four speakers, since right now it doesn't seem to power them.
The back of it says 800Ω, and I'm not sure what our current ones are. I would
guess 8Ω. If that can happen, we can get rid of the Technics black box and
stick with only using one master volume control knob.
