In case anyone was wondering, the webcam has been fixed, and has been up for a few days now. If anyone notices any issues with it, please let me know.

Thanks,
Chris

Torrie and I both have the credentials to the DNS management. Let
either one of us know the new IP and we'll update the A record.
Yeah, its on AWS.

I can create an account for you on there and show you how to update it
yourself if you'll be around tonight. Its pretty simple.

ya,our flavor of TWCBC included 5 static* IPs last time I checked (it
is usually a $30/mo addon). The steaming pile of cable modem (once nat
and wifi is turned off) has a feature code set by TWC to assign and
reserve a dhcp lease within the /29 they assign to any mac address
that connects to it. You can see all the fun possible with this type
of static* addressing (especially if it has seen more than 5 hosts in
its lifetime). The advantage for them is not talking to every
customer whenever they get a new front door, or whenever TWC wants to
change their dns servers.

Anyway, I'm on it (tonight). I had just assumed the new cam wasn't
getting the same private IP as the old, but looking today at
space.synhak and my little vpn monster both are timing out.

For future reference (or in case our /29 has changed), Who handles the
public dns for synhak.org <http://synhak.org> in case the record for
space.synhak has to be changed?

I'll drop something and be there tonight to fix.

Howdy, all. Some people have told me that the webcam isn't reachable on
     live.synhak.org <http://live.synhak.org>.
My guess is that our IP address changed again. Craig (or anyone
     else), is
there a way to fix that? I'm pretty sure our business class
     internet comes
     with 5 static IPs.
