I have put stickers on the items that I have brought in and I have had DO NOT HACK labels disappear, That's why the borg cube now has a double stacked stick of ram in it that had belonged to a workstation that I was trying to get up and running, and it had a do not hack sticker on the case.
You shouldn't quit, you're smart enough to make it better. I just gave a shout out about it since It has been a while since I've worked on it and with things getting moved around there's a chance that the label might have fallen off.
