Hi, we had a 3 month supply of heatshrink, yesterday. Really, no
heatshrink bin, no big tube of it, no (what i thought was) hidden stash in
the soldering area?

Consider me lois reacting to the lack of paper towels (except heatsink is
to both create and fix, and paper towels usually can only repair).

As i've mentioned to a few people, I'll back any proposal that gives
guidance to an expectation of a little more sludge in massively rearranging
things without being an order or a procedure. Yes there are lots of areas
that are not optimally arranged, and the needs change everyday, but there
are a few people who aren't here everyday that are trying (desperately) to
learn where everything is. <imo Let's steer the boat slower, it's too big
to make these hairpin turns anymore /imo>

I don't for a second want to keep someone from rearranging something to one
of the several better possibilities, but perhaps casually mention your
better system in a meeting or on discuss@ as your doing it, make a sign
where the objects used to be pointing towards where it is now. It's
driving me crazy that the second I learn where something is it gets
re-homed to a place that's far more diffrent than better. omni where did
the hot glue sticks go!?!?

Am I alone in this?
