Steve, Thanks for the reply and information.
I have a short list of Akron area welding shops, with phone numbers. I plan on making calls on Thursday and Friday, hoping to find an experienced welder to do the repair. Wish me luck! If all else fails, I will give Devin a shot at doing the repair. He says he has other cast iron welding projects to complete before he would be willing to attempt the repair I need to fix the mixer.
