I wanted to request a meeting (on phone/skype/google hangout or in person) before we sign any contracts for our network needs at 48 S Summit.
I learned today that OneCommunity does indeed have a fiber drop right around the corner from us on E Mill St. Also, they're going for-profit as well. They also have resources for grant writing in house. Basically they plan to send us an estimate for how much MAXIMUM bandwidth we can be provided for the LEAST amount of money at 48 S Summit. Based on what they price, they might be able to write a grant for us to secure the funds from places like Knight Foundation and other organizations that support charities. Whoever has existing quotes from say Time Warner and other companies, please hold on to them for when we can meet and discuss pros/cons of the offerings. You can ignore this message in case we have already signed an internet contract for 48 S Summit St. I'll keep exploring avenues cause that's what I do best.
