At codemash, 8-12 Parrot AR Drone 2.0's were brought in and we wrote javascript code to maneuver the drones. IT WAS AWESOME!
Also, a friend from progressive brought his arducopter - he didn't demo it, but his build was impressive. Cost him over $1000 to build as he wanted to build it his way. It was radio controlled and had a range in miles, had led's he bought at ingenuity fest from the led guys that had nicer leds. I'd say it would be great to build custom drones, and 3D printers at the space. Great idea Martin! I for one would like to understand how these motors work .. I'm completely uninformed on the topic of moving things around.
