Hi everyone, Is anyone familiar with the requirements on disposal of compact fluorescent lightbulbs? Today, I found a work light on the ground with a shattered bulb, which I promptly cleaned up in the name of safety. Sliced feet are bad, mmkay?
I'm curious, I know that there are some electronics inside those CFL's, does that mean that there are stricter disposal regulations for said bulbs? At work, I know we have certain procedures for disposing of the tube-form fluorescent bulbs, and I assume that is due to the mercury-vapor inside them. Anyone here know of the regulations on these things? I'd really prefer to follow the rules here. Thanks, Chris
