Readers of the Discuss list - Someone at SH wanted a replacement LCD screen for an older Toshiba laptop.
Since experiencing brain freeze last week, I totally forgot who I had the conversation with last month, in the basement of SH. I thought I spoke to Chris Egeland, but he says I may have lost my mind. If you are the one interested in the LCD monitor from a Toshiba laptop, send me the model number and/or the part number of what you need. I am in possession of a Toshiba Satellite laptop with either a bad video sub-assembly, a bad monitor, or bad RAM, or bad power supply, or a combination of two or more things. The hard drive has been tested outside the laptop (thanks to Alex K and Torrie F) and is good for many more cycles. More testing/diagnostics need to be done on the laptop before I know what is wrong with it and what I might be inclined to do with the machine. If it turns out to be a bad momboard or bad memory or bad power supply, I will probably just part it out and sell off the parts to anybody with cash. Of course, readers of this list will get a generous discount, just for cheers. Philip
