I did an Xbox mod that I used glow in the dark spray paint on top of a blue paint. When I shined a Class 3b laser (~50 mw ) it made a glow streak that lasted over a minute. I am sure this would work with a class 2 if we used plenty of glow in the dark spray, the spray is clear so you don't see it until it has stored light energy.
