I don't think Perry is willing to move the tool to SYNHAK (correct me if I am wrong), he is just offering its use. It is a rather expensive and very large machine (upwards of 15 feet long if my memory serves me), that requires training and great care to be taken when operating.
This tool is also located at his home, so a certain amount of trust must be involved to allow people to come over and use it. I have had a few projects on the back burner, and with Perry's encouragement, made progress and hope to finish several of them by the end of the year. Overall this is a great resource for synhak's members for making larger or more complex projects. Also this doesn't require the investment of the machine itself, as well as associated tooling, programs, work holding fixtures, dust collection, or floor space. And if a non member is so inclined to have some work done, they could just ask a member with training nicely. Just my thoughts, D.
