FYI, In the spirit of do'ocracy, I created a well-defined space in hallway for the bike maintenance and repair area.
The area has been cleaned and appropriate signs posted. As the signage states, some of the bikes in the new area are the personal property of members and non-members. There should not be ANY hacking by anybody going on with the bikes or tools or other equipment in the area. If it is not yours, leave it alone. I will be installing workbenches, toolboxes and fluorescent lighting soon. Might need some help from Craig or Andy to get several 4-hole outlets mounted on the inner wall. Some stuff has been moved to other areas. If you can't find something, just ask and I'll tell you where to find what you seek. If you have a bike that needs some fixin' or you want to learn about proper maintenance procedures, bring your bike to SH and we will work together. Philip
