thank you for your input on this topic. Given all what is happening in
the hispanic-speaking world around OOo and FLOSS, I really think that
the OOo community should be much more aware of what you do, and what
migrations are taking place.
I think that, although there is the language barrier, you should also
check and contribute to the Marketing project of OpenOffice.org
(http://marketing.openoffice.org) . Meanwhile, a more immediate task
could be to write a monthly short report for the NLC marketing and send
it here: [email protected] . This will allow other
native-lang communities to know you better and the news items will be
included in the official OOo newsletter!

It´s a hard work, because the new users in OO, those that came from
others Departments and work with Office, always requeries Office at
the begining, but at the second week they forget Office and work as
well as they do before or better.

dice Ismael Almodovar´s style. Yo trabajo para el gobierno regional
de la Junta de Andalucía en Andalucía, España. En mi Consejería,
Igualdad y Bienestar Social se está haciendo un gran esfuerzo para
migrar a OO. En la Delegación de Málaga ya comenzamos a trabajar con
StarOffice 5.1 y ahora estamos trabajando con las últimas versiones
estables de OO. Es un trabajo duro, sobre todo con los nuevos
usuarios, aquellos que vienen trasladados de otras Consejerías y
trabajaban con Office, siempre solicitan que se les instale el Office,
pero a la segunda semana ya han olvidado el Office y trabajan tan bien
como lo habian estado haciendo antes o incluso mejor.
