Clarke, below is info on the tool I've used for years, Cloudmark Desktop (formerly Cloudmark Spamnet). No, it's not free, but it's inexpensive and been very effective. Between it and Outlook's built-in spam catching features, only a few of the thousands of spam messages I get actually show up in my inbox, and after watching the spam folders for months in the past, I've stopped bothering and now just trust that the tools are doing their job. I've only rarely found a false positive (a "good" message being marked as junk) cause by Cloudmark (1 in 100,000) and only 1 in about 10,000 from the Outlook spam catcher. /Charlie <http://www.carehart.org/blog/> http://www.carehart.org/blog/
