I just wanted to give a big thank you to Steve and the Figleaf team for their presentation.
Based on their presentation I was inspired to try and create a co-op search engine for our company's genre's. I had seen the co-op information several months ago as I am an AdSense publisher on several of our site, but didn't dig into it very much. I spent a couple of hours Thur poking around looking at the co-op and AJAX API. Today I successfully created my own co-op search engine and merged it with the AJAX API with tabbed layouts. Note: Google has numerous examples which to build from. I have two content rich sites on which I wanted to search. One is a forum type with over 10K entries dating back to 2000 and the other is a text rich site with articles. I was totally amazed at the results and depth of the indexing, also the relevancy of our own content. I have the co-op set to search our sites and the web, but after seeing the results will probably switch it for just our sites. I am just having a blast with this. RL P.S.
