I have an application that has the ability to search a bunch of records based on different criteria, i.e. name, date, type etc. The search results can number in the 100s. Today I've been getting emails from my error handling that contains the following error message:
Element is undefined in a CFML structure referenced as part of an expression. The error occurred on line 159. Google searching the error message, everything I've read so far says this is the result of a race condition. Also, everything I've read says that race conditions are caused from issues with shared scope variables. My question is this, the page does not write or read from any shared scope variables. The user merely is clicking an href to scroll to the next page and variables are passed via a query string. That being said, I'm not really sure how to resolve the race conditon.
