Subject: [ACFUG Discuss] removing url variables from the url after
relocation...

hi,

i do <cflocation url =
"../../App/My_History.cfm?redirect=#urlencodedformat(redirectToSS)#&tranID=#
urlencodedformat(tranID)#&employee_no=#urlEncodedFormat(employee_no)#">

so once user sees the My_History.cfm page, I want the url to be just
My_History.cfm.

Reason I want to do this is, I run some code based of url vars and having
them even after redirection executes that code again and again.

Please advise. I can search on net for this but if someone knows answer thta
would be perfect. I need it fast.

Thanks,
