In response to Howard from the other mailing list: Teddy, what exactly do you mean by that? Shouldn't the JDBC drivers be able to deal with the InnoDB database type?
Howard, I was just getting a semblance of how old the database that Clarke was dealing with. MyISAM and InnoDB storage databases are two different beasts. I believe InnoDB is transaction friendly and MyISAM has indexes stored in a sequential algorithm. Thus why MyISAM was deprecated to InnoDB is later versions of MySQL. I do not remember seeing this error when I had MySQL clients in the past. The last time I touched MySQL attached to CF was a CF7 installation. Teddy
