I follow the way of the plug-in :) I'm not a Flash developer though. I like the plug-in coupled with the WTP package from eclipse. Has all the goodies already including Java editors, etc, etc. Now throw in the CFEclipse plugin and you got the veritable kitchen sink to work in, as long as you can get it stable that is.
Since settings are relative to a workspace, not eclipse wide, can you possibly use the same eclipse instance and just setup for MTASC in workspace one, and not in workspace two maybe? Been a bit since I played with MTASC. DK On 1/7/07, Leif Wells <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
All, This is a question that I have been asking a few people and I thought that ask it here: Do you prefer installing the Flex Builder as a full application or as an Eclipse plug-in? Personally, I use the full application. Reason: since I do all of my Flash work inside Eclipse with the Flash Development Tool and MTASC, I like having separate environments to develop Actionscript 2.0 applications and MXML/Actionscript 3.0 applications. Sure, I could load all of these plug-ins into one Eclipse installation, but I enjoy the segregation. What do you guys prefer? Also, I have installed the powerful CFEclipse plug-in to my Flex Builder environment. Are there other plug-ins that you use that you can't live without? Leif
