Hello- The Edge Newsletter (http://www.adobe.com/go/edge) is looking for a few authors...folks who are willing to write a short article, the centerpiece of which would be a Captivate movie. That movie would essentially be a tutorial on how to perform a certain task and/or how to achieve an effect using one (or more) Adobe products. A good example would be how to encode Flash video and then embed within a Dreamweaver page, or how to create a simple database and hook it up to a website using DW, etc. The Edge is interested in tips, tricks, process, workflow, etc... The products that the Edge is most interested in covering are: Flash, Dreamweaver, Flex, ColdFusion, Fireworks, Photoshop, products on Labs (spry, notetag). The subjects have to be relevant to the web (as opposed to print). Please note that the article doesn't have to be about Captivate, the key here is to develop the tutorial using Captivate to supplement your article. Additionally, anyone who contributes an article that includes a Captivate movie will get a free version of Captivate (retails for $599). But first, to create the movie, you will have to trial download Captivate. Once your article is received the article for publication in the Edge, we'll send them a full-on version of Captivate.
