Does anyone know how to keep the charting components from expanding to a ridiculous size when populated with large datasets?

I have an update to the Flex 2 Style Sampler. If you need a specific hex color entered into the interface, the original sampler doesn't handle the user typing it in well. So Matt MacLean used the open source code to update the sampler http://www.maclema.com/content/sek/ Click on the color palette circle and you now have the ability to enter the hex color along with hue, saturation, brightness, and RGB values.
