Hi All,
So glad there's a community of flash people right here in Georgia. I have
just a few questions to start:
1. When's the next meeting? No idea
2. Does anyone have a list of basic ActionScript 3.0 Commands? For Example,
in AS 2, there were simple commands like on (press) goto and play. stop.
Tell Target.. etc.. There really isn't any. ActionScript is a whole new
language that's more developer friendly. I agree its less designer friendly
though.
3. An even better question is, why is actionscript 3.0 less intuitive? they
somehow advance in exporting nested movie clips for animating which is
great!, but then AS3 seems like a whole different language. It's not less
intuitive for people are "developers" in my opinion. They cleaned up the
language a lot.
anyway, hope to hear from some folks and hope AS 2 doesnt go away any time
in the near future.. It won't. ActionScript 1.0 is still around even!
