Thanks Douglas, for confirming my inheritance head-scratching --- it makes
no sense that the properties to need to be there so it has to be a bug. True
inheritance objects don't need to know what their 'super' has in them. What
does surprise me is that this apparently has been a known bug since
v7.02and was not addressed with v8. But I guess priorities dictate
what gets
added/fixed in the next versions.

Also, thanks for ruining my theory that my ColdFusion ignorance is bliss.
;-) I will follow your advice and 'var' my local variables so I won't make
things messy for me in the future. I know that getting into a bad threading
situation would be a mess for me to even recognize much less debug or fix.
