I think this one is easy:

var str:String = "a,b,c";
var results:Array = str.split(",");

Subject: [AFFUG Discuss] Looping through a list

I have a comma separated list that I need to loop through and put into an
Array for a dataProvider I'm using. I don't see anywhere online or in my
book that will give me a hint on how to loop through a list.. This should be
really basic, but I'm lost here. Any help pointing me in the right direction
would be great. Thanks everyone.
