Heres an example, or how I've done clean up using regex in Flex (this happens to be part of phone number format process)
phone.text.replace(/\D+/g,""); //remove non-numerics Check the String class for further details and and links to the full regex discussion. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] on behalf of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wed 1/23/2008 7:11 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [AFFUG Discuss] meeting I'd like to thank John Mason of FusionLink for putting on a great meeting with Ben Forta. And thanks for offering the 360/Flex tickets as a door prize. I am looking forward to it. A quick question to the list also. Will CF regular expressions work in Flex. More specifically will the ascii characters work? Will CF - [Chr(13)] work in a Flex regex? The Flex doc's state that we can use ascii characters, but I am unsure of the format to lay it out in.
