Ok I am stumped and hope that someone has some experience in this area to
provide a solution.

I have a very basic Flex 2.0 app that plays an flv in an assets directory.
This works perfectly on local run of the app either from localhost or directly
from the file path.

After uploading to production server the player doesn't seem to know where the
flv video is located or there is something else wrong.
In FF and clicking play button nothing happens. app is displayed but it should
be showing the first frame image which is the first indication that it can't
find the path to the video.
In IE I at least get some error indication. Same as in FF but I get a bitRate
error.

The app just can't get any simpler than what it is.
This isn't streaming, but just a progressive video.
Pointing the path to the absolute url also fails.

It just totally doesn't work in production CF 7.2 etc.
I have other FLV files that play in other flash players via an xml list
although in different site, so the server itself is aware of flv's and can
display them.

I initially thought maybe it was the encoding of the flv
The file is on the server in the proper directory.

Anyone experience anything like this?

Thanks
RL
