Description: Blockbuster Digital Technologies, a division of
Blockbuster, is looking for skilled software engineers with experience
in Flash, Actionscript, and Adobe Flex. You will become part of our
team in either Atlanta or New York developing components and core
technology for our next generation application platform. The project
is exciting and will be discussed in depth with any qualified candidate.
Qualifications for Position:
· 2 years experience programming in ActionScript 3.0 or 2.0
· Experience working with Flex Messaging, RPC, and Webservices
· Proficiency and experience in object-oriented development
techniques and building web applications
· Experience in full life-cycle application development from
requirements gathering to deployment
· Experience with Subversion, Flex Builder, command line
compilation, and optimization
· Experience creating and styling custom components
· Ability to solve problems; learn and adapt to different
technologies
· Java, Object Relational Mapping Systems, SQL, and UML
experience a plus
· U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident
