I'm trying to sort numbers in an AdvancedDataGrid that have been formatted using a CurrentFormatter (though the same issue appears if using any formatter apparently). If I use just raw, unformatted numbers in a column then the ADG sorts that column perfectly when the column header is clicked. If I implement a formatter then the ADG doesn't even appear to try sorting. I'd rather not convert my values to strings to avoid problems getting those to sort correctly.
I opened a bug with Adobe (http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FLEXDMV-1769) and included some examples. Have any of you guys/gals found any workarounds? Thanks!
