Very nice website. Can you explain more about making the website search engine
friendly from start to finish?

Thanks,
Brian

Subject: [AFFUG Discuss] Search Engines and a Flex based UX

disclaimer: Yeah, I work for them, but this post is about search indexing and a
Flex based website and not a sales pitch. :)

Recently Universal Mind relaunched their website http://www.universalmind.com.
It is Flex based utilizing deep linking and modules. The site was designed so
that the search engines could index it. Basically, the same exact content is
presented to live users as opposed to virtual ones, further the URLs remain the
same. Thus when Google sees /approach it can index the content that you
yourself can see at /approach.

Checking for the phrase "universal mind forefront of
development<http://www.google.com/search?q=universal+mind+forefront+of+development>"
in a Google search, a new phrase with the new site release, we can see that
this has worked well so far.

Just a proof of concept that I thought you might be interested in hearing. Go
ahead and check the site out, then turn JavaScript off as a example to see that
the site will look the same, but is HTML based.

The folks from ASFusion can be credited with the aesthetics.
