| DK (and John): The Requirements Gathering topic is an excellent idea. I "think" that we could have a healthy discussion regarding how a team decomposes wireframes and UI comps into user stories, and then break the stories into tasks. Capping off the discussion could be a discussion for how one estimates Flex dev tasks. We have developed some processes for this within Enablus and can share some ideas. We would be interested to hear how other teams tackle this issue on their projects. I am keen to see if iRise can solve some of the requirements gathering issues. However, two caveats........(1) From what I've heard, iRise is ungodly expensive (ten of thousands of $$ for an enterprise license), which knocks it out of the realm of most people attending AFFUG. I think attendees would want to know pricing. (2) Whoever presents on it needs to have practical, in-the-trenches experience using the tool for Flex RIAs. When I last looked at it, iRise was great for Web 1.0 or forms-based apps - not sure if how it would help the specification for animations, transitions, and other Flex goodness.
