I am looking forward to the robot demo to be at the March 18 meeting. I have always found robots exciting, especially during the years that I worked for a highly automated division of Siemens manufacturing window lift motors. And, when I wanted make my own automated devices the difficulty of finding the resources to make even the simplist of contraptions was nearly impossible.
I have solved this problem by setting up my own metal fabrication facility, including but not limited to, a machine shop, lost wax investment casting foundry, mig, arc and gas welding, etc. Also, I have three machinist friends to do the highly precise work.
