/wave to Senthil! Wish I had an answer for you man, but figured I'd say hey! We will be having to possibly deal with the same thing soon where I work now (blazeDS as a proxy using destinations to SOAP service operations), so if I run into anything like this I'll let you know.

Though I would love to see what your config xml looks like so I can maybe test on my own.

Hope all is well with you there on the 6th floor! Tell Kartik I said hey :)

Thanks,

Justin Nichols

Hello All,

I am using BlaseDS with the Flex application to integrate with the backend and to make the service calls.

The services are deployed in an App. server.

I have given the complete URL as destinations (eg: 'http:// adch360webd2:8180/hom-rest/tasks/') in proxy-config.xml. This is a web server URL and is mapped to the App. server where the services are deployed

if I use this URL as such in a web browser, I am getting back the response fine. But, I am getting a 'Circular Redirect' Error when trying to access the service through the application through BlazeDS.

In Java, there is a way to allow (set parameter) 'Circular Redirect' in HttpClient object and likewise

Is there a way to allow 'Circular Redirect' or disable Circular Redirect exception in HttpService?

I also googled and googled but no real luck on this topic. Any info. on this will be fantastic.

Also, it worked fine if I give the App. server's IP in the proxy- config.xml
(eg: http://10.163.38.113:8080/hom-rest/tasks).

Again, this URL 'http://adch360webd2:8180/hom-rest/tasks/ does bring back the response when used as such in the browser.

Thanks a lot in advance and thanks for your time

Regards
Senthil
