As far as talking to the db directly theoretically it is possible but
I dont think anyone has written a interface between any of the major
databases and flex yet.
I don't know anything about those other options you mentioned. And
the people I'm writing this app for are already using CF anyway, so I
guess I'll have to learn it. Yuck.
So why is there no direct interface built-in to Flex, anyway? Anyone
know? What I mean is, why didn't Adobe build-in an interface to
the more popular databases? Seems like that would've made life a lot simpler.
