Got the answer. In such a case, in the <mx:Application ...

Set the horizontalScrollPolicy="off" and the verticalScrollPolicy="off"

Thanks

Depending on what the container holding your DisplayObjects is, you
could set the clipContent flag to true. You could also set the scroll
policies for the container as well.

I'd give the first one a shot and see how it goes.

I have a DisplayObject which is loaded dynamically and centered on the

DisplayObject (an Image) from its current position to say 1500px. My
goal here is to simply move the image off the stage and Move another
image in its place, similar to the Hulu effect. My problem is that,
although the images Move out / in as intended, my stage width extends
when I move the first image off the stage. I need my stage to be Fixed
and NOT adjust when I move an object outside of the display area. Is
there a way to hardcode my stage such that if I have elements which are
outside of the stage boundaries the stage does NOT extend and
automatically pop up Horizontal and Vertical bars?

This is hugely important! Thanks in advance for your assistance
colleagues!
