Here is the information for the Adobe Flex position. Thanks for your help.


Senior Adobe Flex / AIR and .Net Developer is needed for an exciting
opportunity building a highly visible application.  Seeking candidates
with a strong mastery of OOP and .Net, experience with AS3 libraries
and the Adobe Flex platform.  Substantial discretionary authority.
Decisions and problem solving based on application of broad policies
and guidelines.  Architects at this level are responsible for managing
key/critical projects where results have a substantial impact on the
strategic direction of the business unit.

Skills Needed/Desired:



-          Mastery of ActionScript 3.0 and object oriented
programming, Comprehensive understanding of Adobe Flex/Air and other
front end technologies, Experience creating dynamic Flash applications
that use XML and server side technologies; experience with XML and
Flash, including an understanding of XSD/DTD for validation

-          Good understanding of Flash memory management and
experience building applications that manage large numbers of objects
efficiently.

-          Will need to work well with Product team (interaction and
usability – look and feel), Engineering team (server communication and
application integration), and Quality Assurance team.

-          Must have a portfolio or other way to demonstrate previous
work for reference

-          Experience and desire to mentor others in understanding
Flash, appropriate use of Flash, and learning to program with Flash .

-          Experience with and ability to lead code reviews,
identifying architectural best practices and constructively suggesting
improvements

-          Ability to produce samples of: good design practices, Web
optimization practices and examples in XHTML, CSS, C#.net, ASP.net,
SQL, and JavaScript



Preferred Experience:



-          Architecture experience and experience working in an
unstructured environment.

-          Current and/or demonstrated prior management of large
complex development efforts and projects.  Practical experience
communicating directly with client management at multiple levels
including senior management.  Previous experience presenting or
persuading large audiences of technologists and/or management.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and requirements to
successful completion.



Education:



B.S. required, preferred in fields of MIS or IT.  MBA preferred, other
IT and related management certification helpful
