Posting Job Description Qualifications: BS in Computer Science
or Engineering, or related experience
- up to 5 years of experience programming with Java
- Preferable experience with Javascript or other Internet
scripting languages
- Preferable experience with unit testing frameworks such as
JUnit or comparable
- Knowledge of object oriented concepts and programming
- Preferable experience with object oriented development
- Preferable technical knowledge of web application development
and/or web standards.
- Preferable experience with using UI and/or application
frameworks or toolkits such as Spring, Hibernate, FreeMarker,
Swing, etc.
Duties: The developer will be a part of the team responsible
for building, supporting and maintaining the content management
systems used by many of Turner's main web properties. This
position will be involved with the design, development, testing
and documentation of software solutions within the full
software life cycle of these systems. Tasks will include
coding, testing, debugging, documenting and support. All tasks
are expected to be performed in accordance with industry best
practices and specific internal procedures and standards.
Candidate must be able to work well in a team environment and
possess good communication skills. Candidate must also be able
to understand and follow existing designs and work in an agile,
fast paced environment.
