Forgot to mention... For the 1-2 hour preso we do have some budget to pay for your time.

But I can not make it tonight. I was also going to announce that Spectrum K12 has an opening for a Quality Assurance person and a Developer. Both are fulltime positions. For the Developer we need someone with core Java skills. You don't need to be an expert, but you must have a good base knowledge. Hibernate experience a definite plus. Obviously, Flex experience also. Currently we have a large Flex 3 application, but will be moving to Flash 4 in the very near future. This is a great opportunity with a great company. Standard work week is M-W-F from home, Tu-Th in office (Queen building at Perimeter). Very nice and loose work environment and atmosphere. Very flat org chart. CEO very approachable and often comes out to talk to everyone. Our software truly helps all kids in school, from special education all the way to gifted and talented. Come work for us and change the world. Also, In early October we are having an internal Product Camp. It is a 3 day event for Spectrum R&D only. There will be many sessions. Most directly impact our product, but some on tech's we are not using and have not near future plans to use. We want to broaden all our developers. I'm looking for someone that can give a 1 hour (2 hour max) preso on moving a large Flex 3 application to Flash 4. Basically looking for the best advice we can get. There should be time at the end for questions. Questions like do we just use F4 and continue using mx controls? Do we try and mass convert from mx to spark? Do we keep the mx control there and anything new use spark while slowly converting? Are we stuck in F3 compiler mode, etc. Definitely looking for someone that has experience with this. Not sure that person exists yet.
