Darin,

Thanks for the reply.

I have not updated the Flash Player recently.

In the Menu I have a choice Run->Run->index or other.

In Project properties, Flex Server, I see the Root URL as 127.0.0.1/myprogram

There is no error at compile time and the changes I do are visible at run time
when I run the the application by typing 127.0.0.1/myprogram in a browser.

try to run the application in debug mode

It's possible to update your FlashPlayer version to one that does not include
the debugger. If you've recently updated, I'd start there. The debug version is
available with a little hunting at adobe.com.

http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

You can also check your launch url from the Run>Run Configurations menu. Also
remember that if there is an error at compile time the swf file may have been
erased.
