Excuse the cross-post, trying to hit everyone. Some of you may know that RIM was platinum sponsor at Adobe MAX this year. The RIM CEO demoed the PlayBook on stage showing off the new kickin device. Why? It will support Adobe AIR development! So yeah, you can go nuts developing apps for the PlayBook without burning your brain out on Objective C :) This thing is schaweet!
Checkout the kicking news here http://us.blackberry.com/developers/tablet/ Going on currently is a webcast series http://us.blackberry.com/developers/tablet/devresources.jsp that features Renaun Erickson from Adobe that talks to how to develop for the PlayBook. This covers setting up a emulator and all. Interested in developing for it? Check out http://devblog.blackberry.com/2010/10/blackberry-playbook-developer-promotion-information/ for info on obtaining a free PlayBook! Get your mobile on!
