Flex positions: Adobe is hiring Flex developers for positions in our professional services organization, Adobe Consulting. These positions involve working on the implementation of large projects on-site at customer locations and as such they involve heavy travel. It's really important for these jobs that you be able to demonstrate not only that you are proficient with and experienced with Flex but that you have expertise in structured development (a great way to show this is by way of a degree in Computer Science, though you're welcome to provide other evidence to prove your mettle) and the more experience you have in working on enterprise-level Flex projects, the better.
Non-Flex positions: Adobe has positions available in locations worldwide-including right here in Atlanta. For sales positions, the hiring managers want experience selling software to enterprises. For technical sales positions, the hiring managers want people who are either experienced SEs or people with an aptitude for technical sales (enjoy interacting with people, doing demos, explaining products and solutions, etc.) and strong product knowledge. Currently for technical sales in Atlanta we need someone who will work with LiveCycle/Day (so an enterprise SE background such as with enterprise CMSs is a good fit for these positions) and we need someone who will work with Creative Suite/Acrobat.
