If you are targeting AIR 3.6, you need to also update your app-config.xml
file to target the correct version of AIR, e.g.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="no"?>
<application xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/3.4";>

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="no"?>
<application xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/3.6";>
