yes, the IDE is independent of the SDK, just drop it in and point to it.
Though I can't recall exactly how, been many many moons since then :)
 Might want to look at InteliJ though, it supports Flex/AS still as well as
HTML/JS, so can grapple together and shift along.  Just a thought, its not
expensive either really.
