First of all, thanks to all who have answered. As I said, uploading own CGIs would be nice. It seems Savannah doesn't provide that. Also having web-space and a mailing-list is important to me. From what I've read so far, it's easier to upload things on BerliOS (with scp), while in Savannah it seems you have to use CVS - I'm not sure - is that right? My concerns against BerliOS is on the one hand that they have advertising on their pages. Will that advertising be also connected to my programs pages? But what really scared me away is that they seem to be connected to the Fraunhofer Institute. I admit, that I don't know very much about that Institute. But what I know is, how they handled their patents to MP3. And that really doesn't give them a good name, I think. What do you think about that? -- AKFoerster _______________________________________________ Discussion mailing list [email protected] https://mail.fsfeurope.org/mailman/listinfo/discussion
