That is on the about us page - I was referring to the homepage ("I see that the
Ubuntu homepage (www.ubuntu.com/) makes no mention...").
The homepage is the first thing that visitors will see, and in many cases the
only page that they will visit. I'm aware that they make mention elsewhere, but
there is nothing on the first and most import page on the site.
