Is there another open source project whose constitution we could plagiarize?

Not a lot of discussion happening on this list so far. :( Maybe this will
always be the case. Seems sad though to not get more people engaged. GREAT that
your interested and have some experience in this matter. I suggest you start a
wiki page titled 'Proposed Constitution Amendment' and draft a revised and more
appropriate constitution. Post any questions you have here.

I'd like to hear open discussions on simplifying the constitution, possibly by
dropping all reference and need for the following:

- a corporate sponsor
- non-profit status
- an incorporated company (SME Server Inc)
- simplifying org level and responsibilities

As an example, if we remove the need for an incorporated company, we remove the
need for Directors. We could simply create a small Leadership Committee
comprised of the _all_to_quiet_ key volunteers that really keep this project
alive today.

Just my thoughts. Trying to Keep It Simple!

Darrell
