Hi Raymond,

Thanks so much for the offers to jump in and help. All that you have
proposed is greatly appreciate and I believe would be of great value to the
community effort.

That board is working hard to get some structure in place so we can
organize generous volunteers such as yourself. Please bear with us as we
work to get this organization in place.

Thank you for the logo design. I will add it to the logo poll we are
currently conducting on the forums:
http://forums.contribs.org/index.php/topic,49862.0.html

In the short term, what you can do is download the latest development
release of SME 9 and test it on one of your virtual test machines. Try to
break it, bend it, and just basically run it through all the hoops you can
think of. Report any bugs you find to the bug tracker. The more people we
get testing SME 9 now, the quicker it will get to a release. To this end,
you can also jump in the bug tracker and look through the current SME 9
bugs and confirm as needed and provide any feedback/suggestions you might
have. You can also confirm the bug fixes provided and provide feedback in
the bug tracker, following the bug fix verification procedures. If you
have any questions or need to some guidance to do any of these things, just
ask. All of the devs and senior people around here will gladly point you
in the right direction.

Thanks again!
